We love cheese and donuts and since we are from Binan, Laguna. I decided to make my very own version of Cheesy Milk Donuts. ❤😁🏳️🌈
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Light brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Dry yeast
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 cup Evaporated Milk
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
Cheese
Coating:
2 sachet of Powdered milk
Tbsp of sugar
Oil for frying
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Make sure to seperate yeast and salt. Mix until combined.
Add eggs, water, oil and evaporated milk. Mix until it forms into a dough.
Prepare extra flour for kneading. Knead the dough for 1 hour. Let it rest for an hour or until it double im size. After an hour, punch the dough to release gas.
Cut the dough into equal square parts. Form dough into small balls. Using a small rolling pin, roll the dough and then insert the small square of cheese. Set aside. Repeat the step until you finish the dough.
Prepare a deep frying pan with oil. Heat to medium heat then carefully fry the donuts until brown. Let it cool for awhile.
Deep the dough donuts onto powderered milks and sugar. Enjoy with love!❤💜🏳️🌈
You can also substitute “Lard” to odorless oil such as canola oil or vegetable oil.
