July has been good month to me. Few days ago, I’m seeing butterflies around me. I believe that’s my dad guiding me through my everyday life especially challenging time in the midst of pandemic. Further, he’s death anniversary was last July 19.

In honor of my deceased father, I am writing this blog.

AYDA in partnership of Nippon Philippines. A yearly awarding body of Architecture and Interior design. Last friday, July 23, 2021 is the mark of the new search for the most talented students and interns for Architects and Interior designers in Southeast Asia. I’m blessed that I got invited to AYDA 2021 Theme Launch last July 23, 2021 at 2pm Philippine Time via Zoom. I get witness the advocacy and it’s meaning of the this years THEME for AYDA 2021.

Pandemic has been a challenge for everyone. So,  for this year’s theme of AYDA 2021 have mix of empathy through designs challenge for the young and aspiring architects and interior designers. Together with founders of Asia Young Designers Award and Nippon Paint Philippines, they officially open the competition.

As an Architect’s daughter, I’m blessed and honor to be part of this prestigious online event. I’m also excited to see more designs coming from our young and aspiring architects and interior designers in Asia. Lastly, theme was so timely and look forward for more creativity despite of this challenging times.
